RigDeluge® spent the morning at the naming ceremony for the New In-Shore Aberdeen RNLI Life Boat.
Having raised several thousand pounds towards the purchase of the boat we were invited to the ceremony where the Mother of a young offshore worker who lost his life on his chopper flight home was invited by the RNLI to name the vessel.
Having raised over £235,000.00 for the RNLI Audrey Wood named the vessel “Buoy Woody 85N”
16 Life’s were lost on the 1st April 2009 on their home bound chopper from the Miller Platform.
